1. Special Education Tuition Waiver Scholarship
- Available to Special Education majors only with 2.75 G.P.A. Application available in February. Pick up in Chamber’s Library 315B.
2. Federal Stafford Loan Forgiveness
- Available to Stafford Loan borrowers who are employed full-time special education
- Teacher whose primary responsibility is to provide special education to children
- with disabilities for five consecutive years as a highly qualified elementary or secondary teacher.

3. TEACH Grant
- Grant applicants must agree to serve as a full-time special education teacher for four academic years at a high need school.

4. Pathway I
- Reimbursement program to recruit general educators into special education.
- Recipients must teach in Oklahoma as a highly qualified teacher.

- Reimbursement program available for current special education majors.

6. The Aspiring Educator - $1000.00
- Designed to further the education of individuals who are working towards a degree in Mild/Moderate Disabilities and Severe/Profound Disabilities. Must be a second semester junior, first semester senior, obtained a bachelor’s and enrolled in continuing education courses or enrolled in a state accredited master’s degree program in the field of Special Education or Speech Language Pathology.

7. Oklahoma Association on Higher Education and Disability Scholarship
- OK- AHEAD offers scholarship money to students with disabilities in post-
- Secondary Education. Applications must be postmarked before January 31 of the award year.

8. Tom and Mary Kate Aldridge Foundation Scholarship
- Scholarship available to Student Council of Exceptional Children officer who have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and has a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher.
- Application available in October. Pick up in Chamber’s Library 315B.
9. UCO Foundation Presidential Partners Award – John and Eleanor Kirkpatrick Student
- Leadership Public Service Award
- Earned 9 hours of graduate credits at UCO and have made significant contributions to the campus through scholarship and leadership.
- Due in March 1. Pick up in Foundation Office.
10. University of Central Oklahoma Foundation – Emma Weaver Rodkey Endowed Dedicated Scholar Scholarship.
- Due in March.
